Frequently Asked Questions
Specializing in vehicle deliveries between Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland since 1989.
Yes, since our drivers are based out of Victoria and Nanaimo, we can move vehicles between cities on Vancouver Island no problem!
We do not currently move vehicles between cities in the Lower Mainland. Our drivers come over from Vancouver Island to grab vehicles in the Lower Mainland and must immediately get back to the ferry. Therefore, they do not have time to add some inter-city deliveries on the Lower Mainland while they are here.
We charge a delivery fee, plus we pass on the ferry cost and fuel cost (if need to put fuel in the car in order to get it to its destination). Our delivery fees vary based on how far the origin and destination cities are apart. Contact us for our delivery fees.
Often we can do next day delivery, sometimes even same day, depending on when you contact us. There could be a two to three day wait if there is a backlog, but we do what we can keep backlogs down. Also keep in mind, that due to ferries being very busy over weekends, we usually can't do deliveries over the weekend.
You can pay by mailed cheque, e-transfer (auto deposit is set up for info@iddl.ca) or we can provide a void cheque so you can setup direct deposits.
We are always looking to hire drivers with clean driving records. Feel free to reach out to us!
